It wasn't until after Hamish had his hot shower, and felt warm enough that he felt he could speak with Mathias. Hamish pressed the chime to alert Mathias that he had company, and when Mathias opened the door, Hamish realized that his older cousin didn't have a surprised expression upon his face.

"You must have been expecting me." Hamish stated, catching the scent of hot chocolate in the air.

"Yes " Mathias answered with a smile. "Okay you have questions or something you wish to talk about?" stepping back to allow his cousin in.

Hamish nodded, "Yeah but first some cocoa, please?" walking over towards the table where the pot with cocoa in it sat upon hot pd. He sat down, and smiled seeing that there were marshmallows there as well. "Oh that looks good." he stated before pouring himself a mug of hot cocoa.

Mathias walked over and sat opposite of Hamish watching his cousin add the normal three, then his eyes widened when Hamish added another mini marshmallow to the mug. "Okay Hamish, four marshmallows? This seems to be a rather serious talk. Wait a two more?"

Hamish looked at Mathias a nodded. He stirred the hot cocoa to let the marshmallows melt and cool down just a bit then he took a cautious sip of the chocolate then smiled. "Perfect, just like back at home."

Mathias watched patiently until Hamish seemed to relax. "Okay out with it, what is on your mind?"

"Its Sansa, she is a mystery and I overheard that she had a relationship that ended recently. Who is this Hayley? And also, you need to tell me this. How can the Captain have a girl that is 19 now and still look so young?" Hamish blurted out.

Mathias closed his eyes for a moment, wondering if he should reveal things about the Captain and Sansa. He opened his eyes and looked at Hamish. "There are things that need to remain private, but you need to know this much. Captain Jones had been kidnapped by Borg and she was pregnant with Sansa. I think that you can fill in the rest of the details there." raising an eyebrow at Hamish.

Hamish was stunned and sat there lowering his eyes towards his chocolate, thinking over just what Mathias had revealed. Then thought over when he and Sansa had their first argument and what she said and he said. "Oh.. OH! I am so rude and inconsiderate!" he exclaimed. "I am so stupid!"

The redheaded chief of Operations just watched as things started to click in Hamish's mind. Then once it settled he then added. "Now as for who Hayley was, she was Sansa's love, maybe her first love. Hayley ended up getting injured during an invasion on the Merlin and had to leave. Plus it seems that it changed Hayley that she broke up with Sansa. I am sure you can identify with how she is feeling now."

Hamish nodded. "I can... I most certainly can identify with that." giving a slow nod.

"I won't go into the full details but, they were very close, and then... that happened. Just be more gentle with Sansa. And as for Fay, from what I know, Sansa was the one to become the first ambassador so to speak and it was difficult position she was in. I marvel at the strength that Sansa showed in being the first host for Fay. And things were complicated there." Mathias giving a wry look. "Even more so when Abigale became involved, and became the new ambassador host for Fay. It was so... difficult." Mathias took a deep breath and slowly let it out. "Anyway, that is about it where Sansa is concerned. "

Hamish looked at Mathias, "So who is Caroline? Will I get to meet her, as per not professionally speaking?"

"In due time, you will Hamish, in due time." Mathias simply stated, with a smile thinking of Caroline.

"Ohh you are definitely madly in love with her." Hamish giving a big grin, looking at his cousin. "I can tell."

"And you, Hamish I think you are starting to like Sansa a bit." his smile becoming more teasing. Mathias laughed. "I can see that you do."

Hamish blushed furiously. "I do but.. Mathias she is out of my league, and really I don't see her even wanting to have anything to do with me in a personal way. After all I don't think she would be into men from what you have told me, I do not have the right equipment to be attractive to her." giving a slight sigh. "Just my luck."

Mathias gave a chuckle, "I wouldn't worry yourself about that, Hamish, things may change, you maybe that one person that she'd be interested in besides being interested in women. Just don't worry. And BE NICE!" he stated.

"Okay Okay! I will, I will." Hamish grumbled somewhat but had a slight smile as well.
