Hamish felt his heart pounding he had to leave, too many memories were coming to the surface. He was also frightened, he was feeling attraction to Sansa and he felt that wasn't good. It wouldn't end well, much like the others. His heart rate was finally going back to normal. He will be alright. Just a lie down and a bit of a stiff drink, is what he needed. The turbo lift doors Hamish stepped in and, gave the order to go to the proper level.

After a few levels, the turbolift slowed to a halt and the doors opened, revealing Melody stood waiting for the lift.

A funny smiled played on her lips as she entered, but she kept herself professional. "Good afternoon Lieutenant. Have we patched things up with Sansa?" She then addressed the computer "Main bridge!"

Well, his pulse had been normal until Melody stepped into the lift. Hamish's face drained of all colour, his legs feeling rather wobbly now. He leaned against the side of the lift and gulped. Hamish managed to squeak out. "Hello... captain." feeling cold perspiration trickle down the side of his face. "I-I-I think I may have, you'd have to ask Sansa..." his voice barely above a whisper.


Melody raised an eyebrow. “Come now Lieutenant. Just because you and my daughter got off on the wrong foot doesn't mean I'm going to toss you out of the nearest airlock..... Yet...” She added with a small chuckle. “Now take a deep breath and try again? And at ease, before you sprain something.”

Hamish tried to get himself collected, with great a great deal of effort. "Captain I do apologize for what I had previously said. And please don't send me out the airlock." taking what she said rather seriously. "I'm really sorry. I did allow myself to be jealous, and she's been nothing but nice to me. I am ashamed for what I had said, and.." he gulped, "I aim to get a stiff drink and go for a lie down. You do have a lovely daughter and you hold your age well, you don't seem to be old enough to have a daughter her age... and well. Hmmm.."

Melody smiled. "Flattery I'm afraid is beside the point Lieutenant, but I don't disapprove of it. As for Sansa, I'm sure you two will have things worked out soon enough," She replied, carefully avoiding the question. The turbolift came to a halt and the doors opened. "This must be your stop." She remarked.

Hamish nodded, "Er thank you Captain. I will be seeing you around." stepping off the lift and into the corridor. "Yes, have a good day." turning and walking away rather quickly, definitely needing a lie down, and a strong drink.

"You too Lieutenant.." Melody called after him as the lift doors closed.
