"Permission to enter the bridge, captain."

The voice was as lovely as she was...light, airy. She still had the blond hair, maybe a little longer then it used to be, and her eyes were the same bright blue that he remembered. He hadn't looked at her yet...he remembered how lovely she was years ago.

The John looked up, and their eyes met.

John didn't hear the captain grant Kalin permission to enter the bridge. She walked, almost floating, to the empty bridge chair and sat. She glanced at John briefly then turned her attention to the captain.

Kalin and the captain chatted about the current mission of the Merlin. She informed the captain that she was assigned here as a purely diplomatic reason...if they encountered alien life or civilizations, she wanted to be involved in the first contact protocol.

John kept his focus on his scanners. It couldn't be okay to be distracted while on duty. His shift was ending soon, so he could hand off tactical/security to one of his officers, and he would be back quickly if something needed him to be on the bridge.

(Flashback)

Cadet Mitchum was one of the Academy's best and brightest security and tactical cadets.

Cadet Dar was in the Diplomatic studies. Why her class was here would hopefully be made known by the instructors. She was talking to one of her classmates, when she noticed a rather handsome human male. He was attractive, broad shouldered and very handsome. When he looked at her, she felt something inside her.

Cadet Mitchum had been looking at the padd that held his lesson's he noticed a beautiful, blond haired woman, speaking to the person sitting next her. She was beautiful, flowing blond hair and when she looked at him, he was lost in her blue eyes.

The instructor called the class to order. John hardly listened to the instructor. It seemed that this was more of a review then a new lesson. He feigned attention, spending his time looked at her.

He decided that he had to meet her.

When the class ended, he made hiss way to the doors and waited for the woman. When she exited the classroom, she dumped into another woman, and her padds when flying around. John ran over and started picking up her things. "Allow me, please."

She beamed a smile at hims. "My hero. Thank you." John had picked up everything she dropped, and wouldn't hand them over to her. "Allow me to carry these for you." he said. "I hope it's no trouble cadet......" she said. "Cadet John Mitchum." She nodded, "John, it's a strong name." she replied looking him over.

"Are you hungry? We can stop be the mess on the way to the quarters." he asked.

"I'm actually not that hungry at the moment. Maybe we can have a late dinner together." Truthfully, she just wanted to get this man back to her quarters and ravish him.

"A late dinner sounds lovely." John knew he needed to move slowly with her. A woman this lovely probably hears all sorts of lines....he was going to be a gentleman.

They started towards a turbo lift and head to the cadets quarters. When the lift arrived, the doors opened and they entered.

The doors closed....and she pulled him towards her and started kissing her. Her lips were soft. Her tongue probed his mouth, and he responded. His hand moved down her spine, until he reach to butt, and he gently squeezed it. She moaned softly.

The lift reached their level and the doors opened. They smoothed down their clothes and exited the lift. They walked down the corridor until they reached her quarters. The doors opened and once the doors closed, "Computer, lock the door." The computer responded and locked the doors.

She took his hand and walked him to her bedroom. When they entered, she took off his shirt and pushed him onto the bed. Then she removed his boots, then his pants. She was shocked at how big he was.

As he laid there, she slowly began to remove her clothes. When she was naked, she laid on top of him and kissed him, while he hands moved along his broad shoulders, then along his biceps, his waist.

Then she rose up and gently guide his penis inside her.

When he went looking for her, she was nowhere to be seen. He tried the Academy computer and when her entered her name, it listed her as 'graduated'.



For the following years, he didn't search for her. She made it clear that she didn't want to be with him.

He thought he found a home on the Merlin, but the she showed up.
