Begin Captain's log

The refit and upgrades on the Merlin are now complete and we will soon be departing Deep Space 21 for a shakedown cruise. Starfleet has given us a lot of its most up-to-date and advanced technology including a new experimental shuttlecraft and a quantum slipstream drive.

Hopefully, with all this new equipment we'll be able to get back to Starfleet's spirit of exploration and adventure.

Admiral Jackson will be remaining on board and sharing some of the Command duties so I can spend more time with the newest additions to my family as well as Draxx.


Sansa will be remaining on Deep Space 21 in an official capacity, helping out in establishing the new colony. While I will miss her, I am so proud of her.


Currently, we are in the final preparation for departure. Everything is going smoothly so far. I'll probably go for a walk to get familiar with the ship once again.
