Ending and Posting Joint Posts

Hey Guys,

So, something I would like to address is ending and posting joint posts. I went through some of the materials from the Academy and for consistency sake there's a few things that will need to be added in logs (things I need to start doing myself even):

All logs should start with

ON:

And end with

OFF:

This just gives a clear start and end for the logs. In joint posts OFF: Should only be added at the completion of the log. After OFF: everyone should put their signature, something I was not doing myself until recently.

The reason for that is not just to let people know who wrote it, adding your signature also signals you are finished adding to the JP. For this reason, everyone should put their own signatures. The caveat for that is if a JP has been sitting for longer than 3 days unanswered and waiting on a signature and you cannot get a hold of the other person. Signatures only need to contain name and post:

Commander John "Apollo" Barstow
Commanding Officer


Most everyone does this already, I just want to make sure everyone is on the same page :)
