Personal Log :: SD 23940521 - 14:30 hrs ...

We have entered the nebula and discovered a derelict vessel ... The fighters have been deployed and are currently using the phaser/comm relay to maintain contact with the Merlin.

At this point i have requested the fighters remain within strict distance so as to ensure we don't loose contact with any or all of our fighter group.

We have closed within several thousand kilometers of the derelict vessel, which has been identified as a Federation Class Starship, designation unknown. Scans confirm that the vessel has been in situ for approximately one thousand years, surprising to say the least given warp drive let alone the technology to produce such a vessel would not have come into existence for another seven hundred years !

It has been decided that an Away Team with transport over to the unstable vessel to investigate further. Commander Jones assigned myself to lead the Away Team.

After suiting up in extra vehicular suits, we are now ready to be beamed to the unknown vessel. What we will find on arrival is impossible to determine, but something in me say's we might find more than bargained for ! ...
